The team
This is a key role working within the central Gaming Operations team. The team is
focused on the smooth operation of our Gaming products with responsibility for a
wide range of areas including content management, promotional set-up, player
management and second line support. The role involves working closely with the six
Gaming P&L teams, the Cross-Sell team and wider parts of Betfair to ensure 100%
operational efficiency and execution.
Role Summary
The role will report into the Team Lead. In particular, you will perform activities
across the following main areas:, Portal and content management. The Intern will
work closely with technical, product management, and marketing members of our
organization, so strong communication skills are needed. The ideal candidate will
also have experience managing online marketing and campaigns. Tasks require a
strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contributor to overall Gaming/Betfair operational performance
Sets-up promotions that have the best customer journey perspective in mind
Utilizing our tools to deliver automated campaigns where possible
Supporting roll out of new product
Execute operational best practice while consistently providing ways to improve operational
processes to drive departmental efficiencies
Manual Payout for our customers, if the promotional mechanic requires it
Work with Commercial teams in terms of tools used, mechanic, best customer journey and
automation
Actively contributes to projects implementation- bring ideas on how things can be done,
attend meetings, suggest changes that add value
Able resolve and reply to simple issue via our slack channels or e-mail, raised, and identify a
solution to make sure the issue does not reoccur.
Meets team’s KPIs with minimum errors
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• experience in an e-commerce environment, not necessarily gaming, as a content, product or
operations executive or another similar role
Good understanding of internet technology and devices
Familiar with the processes and toolset used within an e-commerce function ,Microsoft
Office, Outlook, PPT, HTML, SQL etc.
Great communication and relationship building skills.
Drive, energy and a sense of humor
Strong problem-solving skills with clear attention to detail
Demonstrable experience of issue resolution within an online organization
Desirable Skills & Experience:
• Experience working with 3rd party content providers
• HMTL editing is a plus
• Experience in Marketing planning and Product planning/development
• Knowledge of using gaming software, specifically Playtech IMS and Red
Tiger.
• Educated to bachelor’s degree level, major in computing or e-commerce
preferred
